We perform hair transplant surgery under microscope control to achieve a very high hair yield for our patients. The procedure is cost-effective and efficient, with a quick recovery period of just a few days.
What to expect the day of your procedure:
1. Personal Treatment Plan
Your Rahal physician will answer any remaining questions that you might have, confirm your hair transplant goals and design a natural looking hairline zone to suit the shape of your face, your unique features and your age.
2. Donor Hair Extraction
You are given local anesthesia in the donor area of your scalp, and your Rahal physician will remove the donor strip. The donor area is then sutured. This typically leaves a fine scar that’s difficult to detect and easily hidden by your remaining hair.
3. Follicular Unit Separation
The donor strip is then divided into natural groupings of one, two, three and occasionally four hair follicular units. All of the follicular units are removed from the donor strip under microscopic control to avoid damage, increase hair yield and to preserve natural hair groupings.
4. Placement of Grafts
You are given local anesthesia in the recipient area of your scalp, and your Rahal physician will create a small incision for every individual follicular unit. Each graft is then skillfully placed into the donor sites at the correct position and angle to achieve maximum naturalness, coverage and high density.
Randomness of Nature
A hairline is not a line at all. Hairs do not line up in a row like the bristles of a brush – they grow randomly. At Rahal, follicular units are artistically placed so they mimic the randomness of a natural hairline.
