How much hair do I need?
The typical answer is - as much as possible. However, the limitation is the current and future donor supply. Since we are transplanting and not creating new hair, estimating donor supply in the planning stage is crucial to a long term successful transplant.
While assessing patients, we map out the current and future needs, as well as the current and future donor supply. With this information, along with your goals and expectations, we can then make the short and long term plans.
