Lateral Slit Techniques

We use the lateral slit technique exclusively on all patients. The lateral slit, in simple terms, is the orientation of the slit openings in the new graft recipient area.

It has been shown that by orienting the slit in a specific way, we can create a better illusion of coverage. It also ensures the grafted hair angle remains in its intended direction, as it exits the scalp.
