Hey everyone…
So I finally sobered up from the holidays and thought I’d update with a few pics.
I am 3 months and 2 weeks post op.
I remain content overall with how the donor area is turning out. I’m still hoping that the sides (specifically near, around and above the ears) will continue to thicken up as time progresses, but that’s just a detail and overall it’s looking pretty good.
Even as it stands now, I was able to shave my head with a number 2 guard (6 mm), without any evidence of a procedure having occurred, which I remain extremely excited about !!
As far as recipient area is concerned, maybe by my next update I’ll have some news to report.

Happy New Year Adamo! Sounds like you had a pretty good holiday. Waiting is always the hardest but give it time and before you know it you will be sprouting. Donor area looks great by the way.

im surprised we didnt run into each other over the holidays. thanks for the update. donor looks really good and seems pretty thick. i wonder how many more grafts dr rahal thinks u have left in the bank for future fue procedures if required.
recipient area seems to be progressing nicely, no redness left. i cant wait to see your progress at 6 months to see how the recipient starts filling in so we can get an idea of yield.
any pain or tightness or numbness in recipient or donor area?
