A tuft of hair found in the icy wastes of Greenland has unlocked fresh insight into what could be the oldest inhabitants of North America.

Wired.com reports that DNA tests on the hair reveal possible genetic links to the people of eastern Siberia, including genes for blue eyes and male pattern baldness.
